The farms of yesterday are vastly becoming non-existent along the fringes of urban development. Rural scenery and farm land is being chipped away acre by acre and replaced with rooftop taxable neighborhoods.
Where this hay bale sat, now lies a model home for new neighborhood.
It’s a catch 22 in my opinion, I want to see progress for the area I live in, but at what expense? I guess I need to move further out of the city now. Progress means jobs, economic development, and a little stability for the mostly blue collar working families that live here, and in other parts of the country dealing with the same type of issues.
