Sometimes in this life, the cosmic forces of the universe have a way of putting things into perspective for you, whether you want to see it or not. I’m a firm believer in life cycles, an idea in which you are constantly re-evaluating your journey in life. It’s your path to walk, and only yours. Sure, you have goals and perceptual ideas about what you think your future looks like, I call that the “Dreamer State”, but then there is reality smacking you square in the face, saying you have to choose, but choose wisely, “Life”. Now you are choosing paths that may or may not be right or wrong, just paths with alternate landscapes, with the general hope that you are headed in the right direction. I know I’ve been down the wrong path, lot’s of times, and you say to yourself, how in the world did I end up here? That’s when you have to stop and re-evaluate where you are in life, and where you want to be. Without stopping to re-evaluate where you are on your path, how do you know you’re headed in the right direction? Your goals of ten years ago may now seem silly and arbitrary, or you may have already surpassed your decade old goals. I’ve found that the goals I had ten years ago have become clouded and convoluted, and not the path I want to walk today. The best part of the re-evaluation, is that you realize that every morning brings a new dawn, a new light and a new day, with new choices and new paths.
